APANY aims to provide a forum in which the Government of Anguilla, Health Care Volunteers, and other goodwill institutions can work together to take care of Anguilla’s senior population. This aging generation has been at the foundation of the development of our country and the freedom we now enjoy. Currently, the Department of Social Development, The Anguilla Social Security Board and four (privately owned) Homes for Senior Citizens continue to play an integral role in the wellbeing and care for Anguilla’s Seniors. In 2009 the Government of Anguilla established a National Policy for older persons. Yet it remains a struggle to deliver the long-term quality care and services needed for the elderly. As an organization, we are dedicated to supporting initiatives that will contribute to enhancing and facilitating social activities and other wellness programs related to Senior Care.
