This exciting hands-on 2-WEEK workshop is designed to create more awareness about opportunities in the digital arts and creative industries among young people in Anguilla. The workshop will cover how to conceptualize, design and manage a digital art project along its entire life cycle. Participants will learn about the trillion-dollar business of digital arts and about how to leverage online resources for learning, exposure, and employment. WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES
On completing this workshop, students should be able to:
• Discuss the economic and creative relevance of digital arts in small island states
• Identify emerging trends in Digital and new media
• Identify digital arts learning resources online
• Develop awareness of pre-production and post-production skills for digital arts
• Research digital arts tools and online resources for content creation and delivery
• Value copyright and intellectual property laws and their impact on content creation and Delivery.
• Discuss how social media and the internet can promote Skills and provide opportunities
• Develop an appreciation for the multiple and responsible uses of digital arts
